The Story
Just Add Water springs from the personal journey of Heidi Hurst, a young woman who while starting an acting career in Los Angeles, found herself seeking a larger purpose. After taking a soul-searching, three-month solo trip through Europe in 2009, Heidi reconnected with herself, renewed her relationship with God and rediscovered a dormant passion in her heart - to find a way to help those in greatest need. Through her church, Heidi learned of the immense growing water crisis and knew where she wanted to start.

Generosity Water
Just Add Water is excited to be partnering with Generosity Water, an organization dedicated to building sustainable water wells for the nearly 1 billion people worldwide living in communities that do not have access to clean, disease-free water. These wells may bring water to desperately thirsty people, but they also bring life and hope! As a result, children are able to attend school instead of walking miles to find water, women are able to nurture their families instead of struggling for survival, and communities find the freedom to improve their futures!
